Another suitable Sunday outfit from BOTD. Keeping it simple for a trip to church on birthday eve (what do you mean we don’t call it that?.) A creamy blazer and gold micro mini work perfectly with big hair and big bling. After a crazy storm last night, we’re playing it safe with some thighboots to keep the rain out.
A breezy start today for BOTD. No rest for the wicked so more shows to go to, including Jean Paul Gaultier and Viktor and Rolf. Despite all the colour on the catwalks, black is the order of the day so a little Balmain inspired LBD with towering, ruched thigh boots to match. The outfit is all about control, the hair is unfortunately dictated by the weather.
So the ever lovely Mrs Beckham was spotted out and about in London town last night at Diane Von Furstenberg’s rather fashionable dinner at Claridges. On the menu was a sumptuous pair of thigh boots (and you know how much I love a thigh boot) served with a delicious Giles Deacon LBD. It really makes the mouth water, non?
I absolutely love Miley Cyrus. Ever since she appeared on Jonathan Ross (youtube it) where she seemed more cracked out than Whitney I have loved her a million times more. Hello?! The Climb? Brilliant. Her latest video is super sexy and features sequins and feathers and leather and gorgeousness. It is a big departure from her Hannah Montana days and I love it. Did I say that yet? I do. Love it. Cannot Be Tamed. Megarama! End of.

This week has a special music theme here at BOTD. Having spent too long watching music videos last week I’ve been inspired to recreate some of the hottest tracks around. Kicking us off in style is the latest release from Kelly Rowland, Commander. She looks stunning in the crazy futuristic video and with her wind tunnel ponytail makes her look frighteningly like fellow DC memberMichelle Williams. Her and David Guetta make a great team and the track is already one of my favourites for the summer and you know we love a wipe clean outfit when out clubbing. Right now I command you to… Dance!!! and then Youtube the video… and… Dance!!!
So some of you may have noticed that we are big fans of Lady GaGa, here at BOTD Towers. But what you may not know is that we are also huge fans of Christina Aguilera. She remains one of the best live artists I’ve ever seen, on one long lost weekend in Manchester. And at last she’s back and looking.. well rather like a poor man’s GaGa. Sorry Aggy but we loved your Dirrty days and this amazingly produced video is just trying way too hard to do something that someone else has done already-and better. But we’ve decided to treat it like a GaGa release and BOTD feels we should pay tribute. So behold…

Happy Fairytale Friday, fashionistas. We love us some shoes at BOTD Towers. Skyscraper heels, chunky platforms and I’m sure you’ve noticed our penchant for a sexy thigh boot. So to us, the carelessness to go on a night out and return with only one shoe is really rather upsetting. So Cinderella, or Cendrillon as she is known here in France, really should take more care and maybe lay off the champagne at these parties. Shoes are for life not just for Cannes.
Now you may have been expecting a Cannes special today but we’ve decided to save our biggest ballgowns for the weekend. Besides, nobody shows up on the first night- no offence Eva Longoria. So today we have gone mad for leather. Who can resist a ruched thigh boot at the office?
A new addition to the Barbie of the Day family has shown up on the doorstep of BOTD towers today, complete with enough luggage to make Joan Collins blush. Hat boxes, handbags and the ultimate rockstar accessory- a guitar case. Do we really think there is a guitar in there? A machine gun? Millions of doll dollars?
The paparazzi are obsessed with the infamous “knicker shot,” even going to the extreme of lying on the floor waiting for female celebrities to step over them and reveal the answer to the question on everyone’s lips… Is she or isn’t she? As for the girls at Barbie of the Day?

Attention thigh boot fans. For everyone who enjoyed Saturday’s entry I’m continuing the theme. This is a bit more Superhero chic meets Beyoncé/Gaga meets The Saturdays’ Ego video meets Pretty Woman… OK OK the inspiration is pretty diverse but the results….
