Work!
Business as usual at BOTD Towers. Monday means office chic. What is it that gives us that business feeling? Tuesday could be helicopters, Monte Carlo or diamond fingernails. But Monday represents getting back to work. Enough fun! Time for action. Obviously at Barbie of the Day that means sexy secretary chic. A see through lacy blouse and pencil skirt means business but is naughty enough to mean all sorts of other things. Throw in a pair of mules and….
Chop and Change
Nobody’s figured out Tuesday’s dress challenge yet. The clue is in the title. Meanwhile, as promised we decided to give Jet a little makeover in an attempt to get her a little more work as a top mo-doll. We stripped her of her blackcherry goth lip and gave her a neater crop. I think she looks a lot more professional and will be happy to feature her in more shoots.

Office Party
A quiet day in the office today so we’re having our own BOTD office party…. Until the phone rings at least. I know you guys must be getting bored of Amber and Madison hogging the limelight so I figured I’d give Jet a moment in the spotlight. While I love her Asian Barbie goth look I’m thinking a little makeover might get her a little more work on the pages of Barbie of the Day. What do you think?
Start The Week
Sofa, so good.
I always want to start the week with a nice bit of workwear. An office themed shoot. Sexy secretary chic… But today I didn’t do that. Today I stripped Beyoncé don’t to her bra and pants and stuck her on a sofa, in a forest, with a hot male model. Sure, you can’t wear it to work, well, maybe under something else, or maybe the shoes.
I miss Queen B looking sexy. It’s all about carrying that baby round NYC at the moment and until someone sends me a Barbie papoose, this is what you’re getting.
Office Party
Work time! It’s lovely to be back in London, even if it is a little rainy this morning. The dolls are dressing up for business meetings, working lunches and putting the BOTD brand out there. It’s all about fantastic footwear today so time to make an impression.
Let’s get this BOTD show on the road. Pimp pimp pimp. Push push push.
Back to Business
Finally! The world is returning to work today after what seems like an endless holiday. It feels like forever since we got a business related email so it’s good to get back in the saddle, even if we are still existing in a mobile version of BOTD Towers. The dolls are going back to work in style, in fabulous fabrics and grown up tailoring. We’re starting 2012 as we mean to go on, in all out glitz and glamour. Don’t be fooled by the glitter. BOTD means business this year.
Busy Barbie
A busy day ahead at BOTD Towers. Lots of emails to write, a couple of meetings about the BOTD 2012 calendar, travel plans to confirm. It’s all go! Quick make up check. Hair? Fabulous. Outfit? Oh great! Beyoncé’s only gone and forgotten her sodding trousers again!

Working the wild look today in a sexy snake print maxi dress. Teamed with a white blazer, its a perfect outfit for a spring day at the office. Let’s see if we can get through the week…
Spring Zing
Feeling bright and breezy this morning as I race around BOTD Towers getting ready for the week ahead. Some of you may have been expecting a Mothers’ Day special yesterday but as my Mum is coming to France today I decided to save my excitement for another 24 hours. With lots of friends arriving from all over the world, it’s going to be a busy week but that won’t get in the way of looking fabulous.
