Sugary sweet couture at BOTD today. With the hot weather it seems only appropriate to break out the ice cream shades to cool down. We saw Beyoncé in chocolate earlier in the week so how about some peaches and cream? Delicious!
So today I couldn’t decide whether to go for a Barbie voting in France, a crazy Bahrain Barbie at the controversial grand prix or a Marilyn look to celebrate the launch tonight of the new US show Smash.
Well my decision was made when I saw, the always bonkers, Helena Bonham Carter on the cover of the Sunday Times Style, wearing a copy of our Easter Bunny ears. I’m always thrilled when stars are inspired by Barbie of the Day but such a direct copy? Check it out below. Apologies for the ST app screen grab. Pay wall n all.
Business as usual at BOTD Towers. Monday means office chic. What is it that gives us that business feeling? Tuesday could be helicopters, Monte Carlo or diamond fingernails. But Monday represents getting back to work. Enough fun! Time for action. Obviously at Barbie of the Day that means sexy secretary chic. A see through lacy blouse and pencil skirt means business but is naughty enough to mean all sorts of other things. Throw in a pair of mules and….

A very sexy Easter Bunny for you today. Mary Madison has gone all sacrelicious using St Ken on the cross as a handy coat rack. Not entirely sure which part of the bible that was in but she looks fabulous. She’s gonna spend all Easter weekend fighting off those disciples in her lacy couture. Work it girl!
I was too busy thinking about Cleopatra yesterday to mention that girl married to that prince guy was turning 30. Ok. Ok I get it. She’s a princess. But she’s young and sexy. People say she wears too much eye make up but in BOTD world there is no such thing as too much. I just wish she would sex it up a bit. She’s got great legs. Swishy hair. She’s sample size. Somebody throw some Donatella at the girl.
At last! The big day has arrived. So big in fact that it requires more than one dress! It was a transparent dress that bagged Miss Middleton her prince in the first place so when she first contacted BOTD we knew exactly what she was after. A stunning micro mini in ivory lace seemed the perfect option and was teamed with a pair of ruched leather thigh boots. Following several meetings and a number of phone calls from the palace we opted for a second, more traditional dress, in bright white lace with feather skirt. We were incredibly lucky to work with the photographer Annabelle Moller to capture these precious moments and wish you all a very happy royal wedding.
