Home Run

Don’t know, how you did it
Loco, is how I’m feeling
Don’t go, you’re so addictive
I cannot resist it
Let’s dance, let’s take it to the next level
No hands, more bass and more treble

From one diva to….
Well obviously I wanted today’s post to be about lovely Leeds lass, Nicola Adams who won gold at t’lympics in lady boxing. As it’s a proper sport, I didn’t just want to have two dolls in gym kit fighting over a handbag but equally, as discussed in length on Twitter last night, it is impossible to find miniature boxing gloves in a hurry…. Boxing Barbie will have to wait. In the meantime, congratulations to Nicola, another great Leeds export along with me and Mel B…
Anyway…
So I’m totally hooked on Misha B’s debut single Home Run. (How is that linked? What am I on?)Totally hooked! I know it’s been out forever (15th June, thanks wiki) but it just won’t go away. Well. On my radio at least, which isn’t a French radio, sorry Misha, not big in France yet. But big in hair at least! I think the big hair is my main attraction. Imagine her without it…

Here she is with it and some amazeballs make up…

Hotter Than Hot

Heat wave

Later than usual this year, today it finally feels like the right time to get the pins out. Nope not hairpins or safety pins. Legs, silly! Shorts at last! It finally feels like summer here on the Côte d’Azur. I think I even saw some sunburn yesterday, silly rabbits. Amber is keeping it pale and interesting with sky high nude heels and a micro mini tweed dress. Might there be a bikini under it?

Today There is a Very Dark Sky

So said Mr Cavalli, yesterday in Milan. Nope, he wasn’t talking about the Inside Soap Awards but in fact, the economy. Moments later he sent beautiful, blinging dresses worth thousands of Euros down the runway. Fabulous black, lacy numbers and tuxedos embellished with glitzy gold beads and sequins lit up this “dark sky” as they shimmered on the catwalk.

Who Run The World?

Queen B is preparing herself for her performance tonight on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury. A rock and roll mohawk should keep her hair out of the way and some serious platforms will keep her out of the mud. A blast of bling and some sexy neon nails complete the look.

Stop the Press!

A fabulous start to the week at BOTD Towers. The sun is shining and we have lots of exciting work up our sleeves. The News of the World may have apologised for hacking our Barbie phone but yesterday’s news is today’s set dressing. The really big news is the really big hair we’re sporting and we’ve come over all arty in this graffiti print micro mini. Banksy would be proud, I’m sure.

Pink Pins

Another pink dress? I know I know but I couldn’t resist this super bright lacy number revealing rather a lot of leg. A touch of sparkle underneath makes this perfect for Saturday night… Or indeed Saturday morning at the market. Big hair and drag queen make up make the perfect accompaniments. Throw on some skyscraper heels et voilà. Fabulous! Un demi kilo de courgettes s’il vous plait.

Winter Warmer

A chilly morning here on the Côte d’Azur following a week of glorious sunshine. Nevertheless, Saturday is market day so we will brace the winter air for our fruit and vegetables dressed entirely inappropriate as always. The woman on the olive oil stand will no doubt presume that this is a morning after the night before kinda look but for us its all about dressing to impress and you never know who you might run into on the saucisson stall.
