Like Victoria Beckham, the dolls have not quite got their heads round wearing sneakers. Even when it comes to sport. Today marks the start of Wimbledon so in true British style we’re cracking open the Pimms and settling down to watch with our strawberries and cream. If Coco Chanel were still making tennis outfits in Deauville I’m sure she would approve of this little number.
After the Rain Has Gone
Why can the weather never make up it’s mind? One minute it’s doll size bikinis, the next it’s wellington boots and umbrellas. In an attempt to show off the Côte d’Azur tan, I’ve opted for the best of both. Flash the flesh but stay warm and dry with a furry cover up. All fur coat and no knickers? Never at BOTD!

Wow. After a weird and wonderful week away, it is great to be back on the Riviera and to get back to business. First things first… a bit of sunshine. I know, I know- havent we just been on vacation? Yes but the sun is shining and the sea is calling. How could we refuse?

Rihanna’s new video is beyond sexy. Featuring the gorgeous, Gallic, garlic loving Laetitia Casta, the clip is set in a French chateau, the perfect setting for their lesbian love affair to take place. They both look incredibly hot in the video which is perhaps why they have to spend most of it in very little clothing and moving very slowly.

I absolutely love Miley Cyrus. Ever since she appeared on Jonathan Ross (youtube it) where she seemed more cracked out than Whitney I have loved her a million times more. Hello?! The Climb? Brilliant. Her latest video is super sexy and features sequins and feathers and leather and gorgeousness. It is a big departure from her Hannah Montana days and I love it. Did I say that yet? I do. Love it. Cannot Be Tamed. Megarama! End of.

Kylie is back! Goodness how we’ve missed her. Her new song All the Lovers is definitely a grower. I wasn’t sure at first but now I Cant Get It Out of My Head. The video features lots of kissing and a dove which just happen to be two of my favourite things.

BOTD Commands You to Dance
This week has a special music theme here at BOTD. Having spent too long watching music videos last week I’ve been inspired to recreate some of the hottest tracks around. Kicking us off in style is the latest release from Kelly Rowland, Commander. She looks stunning in the crazy futuristic video and with her wind tunnel ponytail makes her look frighteningly like fellow DC memberMichelle Williams. Her and David Guetta make a great team and the track is already one of my favourites for the summer and you know we love a wipe clean outfit when out clubbing. London Calling
Time to escape the beautiful French Riviera and head back (briefly) to Blighty, to the bright lights of the big city. London, Baby! Lots of exciting and glamourous events lined up. Plus a chance to see some very special people and of course spread the BOTD gospel. Watch out London, BOTD is coming!

Oh come on! Were you really expecting a World Cup doll? Really? You guys know by now that Saturday is market day here. We pop along to buy our courgettes and tomatoes and see the cheese man and maybe stop for a coffee. One has to make the effort. Hence why this week we opted for leather ruching and fuschia frills. Just your average shopping outfit, right?
